This is 4.25 stars for me.
I absolutely loved it. Have loved Bret in the other books, so was really pleased to have his story.
BUT... I just got into the story, loving the interaction between Bret and Marcus, and it finished. It was just far too short. It should have been another 100 pages (or even just 50!) and a definite 5+ stars.
To make matters worse my ereader said there was another 20 pages to read, but it was lying - the last 20 pages were a list of Kim's books, with just one on each page!
Strongly recommended - great fun.
